IMedia School is closely following the government guidance and will continue to update it’s policies as the guidance changes and evolves. For more information please see the Government guidance on COVID-19 (coronavirus). The symptoms list has been updated as of the 18th of May 2020, we ask you please review the update for Coronavirus symptoms and isolate accordingly should a pupil or someone in their household experience these symptoms. We have received the latest update on the easing of restrictions so please take a look.

During this unprecedented time, IMedia School will remain open and will continue to provide full time provision for students of key workers and also vulnerable students.

Number of important safeguarding principles remain the same:

  •  With regard to safeguarding, the best interests of children must always continue to come first

  • If anyone in a school has a safeguarding concern about any child they should continue to act and act immediately

  • A DSL or deputy should be available

  • It is essential that unsuitable people are not allowed to enter the children’s workforce and/or gain access to children

  • Children should continue to be protected when they are online

Starting the week commencing on the 18th of January, 2021, we are running LFD tests weekly for both staff and students. These are additional tests to ensure we are containing the virus and protecting our School Family.
